The questions people ask before picking a tier.
What is shared hosting?
Your website lives on a server alongside other websites, each account with its own allocation of CPU, memory and storage. Sharing the underlying hardware is what makes it the cheapest way to host a site. The trade-off is that you don't get root access or custom server software. If you need those, a VPS is the next step up.
How many websites can I host?
Starter hosts one site and Advanced hosts three. Ultimate and Enterprise both host an unlimited number within your resource allocation. Every site on the account gets its own domain, SSL certificate, email addresses and database.
Is a domain name included?
Advanced and Ultimate include a free domain for the first year on yearly plans, and Enterprise includes one on any term, from our standard TLD list. It renews at the normal rate afterwards. If you already own a domain, point it at us instead. There's nothing extra to pay and we'll walk you through the DNS change.
Will another site on the server slow mine down?
Each account runs with enforced CPU, memory and I/O ceilings, so a neighbouring site that spikes gets throttled rather than consuming the whole machine. We also cap accounts per server well below the industry norm, which is the more common cause of slow shared hosting.
Do you limit bandwidth?
Bandwidth is unmetered under fair use. We don't bill overages or cut sites off without warning. If a site consistently uses resources far beyond its tier, we contact you and talk through the options first.
Can I upgrade from shared hosting to VPS?
Yes, and it's the normal path as a site grows. Moving between shared tiers is instant and prorated. Moving up to a VPS or dedicated server is handled by our migration team as a managed move, scheduled with you so there's no surprise downtime.
What control panel do you use?
cPanel, with one-click application installers, email management, file management, phpMyAdmin and the backup restore interface. SSH and SFTP are available on every plan with key-based authentication.
What happens if I want a refund?
Shared plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. Cancel within the first month and we refund the hosting fee, no questions asked. Domain registrations are non-refundable once issued, since they're purchased from the registry on your behalf.
